Rex Orange County Song – Lyrics The Shade – The Shade (Richard Swift) adalah karakter buku komik yang dikembangkan pada tahun 1940-an untuk National Comics, pertama kali muncul di halaman Flash Comics dalam cerita berjudul “The Man Who Commanded “Malam”, yang ditulis oleh Gardner Fox dan digambar oleh Hal Sharp Memulai debutnya sebagai penjahat, Shade terkenal karena bertarung melawan dua generasi pahlawan super, terutama Flash versi Zaman Keemasan dan Zaman Perak. Penutup
Shade muncul di Young Justice dengan suara Joel Swetow. Tampilan versi ini terinspirasi dari inkarnasi DCAU. Dalam episode “Triptych”, dia dengan enggan mengambil bagian dalam operasi perdagangan metahuman Simon Stagg sampai dibebaskan oleh Cheshire. Pada episode “Artemis Through the Looking Glass”, Shade bergabung dengan League of Shadows, meskipun dalam episode “I Know Why the Caged Cat Sings”, untuk membalas budi Cheshire yang melepaskannya, dia berbalik melawan dan meninggalkan League of Shadows , dan menjadi pekerja lepas.
